PERIOD OF CONTEST: From 20 January 2015 to 28 February 2015
ELIGIBLE PARTICIPANTS: Users age 18 and older, at least 1.40 cm tall, who register on the site, owned by the promoter, and who upload a video clip about themselves, according to the instructions provided in these rules.
SCOPE OF PROMOTION: The scope of the contest is to increase awareness of and promote “Oblivion”, the new rollercoaster at the Gardaland amusement park.
PROCEDURE FOR THE CONTEST: The contest is divided into the seperate phases and instructions as indicated below.
REGISTRATION AND VIDEO UPLOAD:
During the period from 20 January 2015 to 28 February 2015, all users that meet the above mentioned requirements (age 18 and older, at least 1.40 cm tall) and who intend to participate in the competition, must visit the website www.gardalandoblivion.it owned by the promoter, and register by filling in the form provided.
To participate in the contest, the user must accept these rules and commit to respecting them.
After registering, entering the e-mail indicated on the registration form and the password in the fields on the site, the user can login to upload his/her video. The user is shown a page where he/she must enter the address of a video on the YouTube platform, for which he/she holds the copyright for the image and use and in which he/she is the star.
Each user can upload only one video for the entire duration of the contest, with a maximum time of 3 minutes, which must feature an exceptional feat that highlights the courage of the star (for example, parachuting, rally racing, etc.) and in one for the formats supported by YouTube, and must, also, indicate the title of the video with a short description.
Each user can review the result of the video they filmed before confirming publication and making it visible and available for voting. The videos can be uploaded directly on the site using the function available in the dedicated section.
Advance registration on the site is required to upload the video and, therefore, participate in the contest.
VOTING PHASE (the phase of the contest in which the users “vote”):
The videos uploaded on the site can be viewed for voting by visitors.
When visitors visit the site to vote, they can use the dedicated function starting from the date of publication until midnight on 28 February 2015 (the date and time stamp on the vote determines the validity). At all times during the event, all users will be able to see the number of votes each participating video has received.
At the end of the event, a dedicated table will be prepared showing, in decreasing order, all participants’ information and the total number of votes received. The top-ranked 30 videos will undergo the jury selection.

Winner selection: By 9 March 2015
JURY PHASE (phase of the contest when the “jury” performs their selection):
At the end of the event, the thirty (30) videos uploaded on the site that received the greatest number of votes, based on the ranking provided, will be subject to review by a dedicated jury. The jury will decide the eighteen (18) winners who will be awarded the final prizes listed below.
By 9 March 2015 the jury, consisting of at least three of the following members:
will meet at the offices of the delegate, PROMO GRIFO SRL in Viale Gran Sasso 23, MILAN, in the presence of a Notary Public or Chamber of Commerce Officer.
The jury will review the thirty (30) videos uploaded on the site according to the following criteria:
The jury will review the thirty (30) videos, awarding each a vote from 1 to 30. The producers of the 18 top-ranking videos will be awarded the designated prizes. At this meeting, the jury will select three (3) runner-up videos, again according to the criteria indicated above, whose producers will be awarded the prizes should it not be possible to contact the winners. Anonymity of the participants is guaranteed during evaluation of the videos by the jury members. Should the there be a tie score for any of the selected videos, these will be reviewed a second time by the jury to select the winner.
The participants must bear any costs related to the internet connection required for participation in the contest.
The promoter declines any and all responsibility for technical problems of any type that may prevent a contestant from accessing the internet (for example, but not exhaustive: malfunction or difficulties with the technical tools, the computer, the telephone line, cables, electronics, software or hardware, transmission and connection, and the internet connection).
The server for data collection is located at SEEWEB Srl, Corso Lazio 9/a, FROSINONE.
RESPONSIBILITY AND STATEMENTS OF THE PARTICIPANTS:
With registration and participation in the contest, each video-participant states to have read these rules and commits to respecting them in all parts, and that they accept them fully.
Furthermore, each participant commits to:
Each participant in the contest acknowledges that Gardaland Srl cannot be held responsible for any damages of any type, contractual or otherwise, that could derive from the publication of the videos uploaded, by either the participants or third parties.
In any case, each participant commits to indemnifying and holding harmless Gardaland Srl from every and any adverse consequences that should arise due to the publication of his/her video, including against third parties holding title of the aforementioned publication.
RIGHTS FOR USE OF THE VIDEO: Each contest participant, by uploading their video on the site, confers to Gardaland Srl, free of charge, the right to use the video uploaded according to the procedures listed above, in the widest unlimited sense without limits to space and time, for the reproduction and diffusion on any support considered suitable or necessary, including for advertisement.
REASONS FOR EXCLUSION:
The promoter does not perform any advance checks on the videos uploaded by the participants, who, therefore, remain exclusively responsible for them both in terms of civil and penal law.
In the event of violation of these rules by a participant, Gardaland reserves the right to remove the video uploaded with effect immediately, with no advance notice, save the responsibility of the participant for any demands that may be presented by third parties against Gardaland Srl.
Specifically, the results of the daily checks performed on the uploaded videos, these may be removed from the site should they contain: defamatory content against the promoter or any other affiliated persons or groups; nudity, lewd or vulgar content; subjects and contents that damages others, not excluded the rights for privacy, advertisement, or third party patent rights; copyrights, brands, or any other rights subject to protection or owned by third parties; violence, weapons of any type (for example pistols, knives, or bullets), drugs, tobacco, vilifying or defamatory material; zealotry, racism, hate, or violence against any group or individual; or promotion of the discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, age, or any other condition protected by law.
In any case, even if not removed from the site, for preparing the classification of the top-ranked 30 videos that have the right to participate in the jury phase, any videos with content indicated above will not be taken into consideration.
Given the above, should it be found that the winners and the runners-up have used fraudulent means and equipment, or if they have violated the normal development of the contest, they loose all rights to any prize.
In any case, the promoter reserves all rights for proceeding, within the terms judged suitable, and according to current laws, to limit or inhibit any initiative with the objective of circumventing the system defined and the mechanism of the contest.

The prizes cannot be converted into cash or other objects.
The company declares to renounce its rights for the reimbursement of withholding tax according to Art. 30 of Presidential Decree No. 600 Dated 29 September 1973 on behalf of the winners.
Should any prizes not be claimed, not be assigned, or not be delivered due to the inability to contact the winners or runners-up, according to Art 10, Para. V of Presidential Decree No. 430 dated 26 October 2001, they will be given in charity to A FILO CONTINUO ONLUS, Via Dei Sassi 3/a, 37026 PESCANTINA (Verona) Tax ID 02177910235. In the event of refusal, they will be confiscated by the promoter.
PRIZE DELIVERY AND COMMUNICATION OF WINNERS:
The prizes will be hand delivered to the winners on the 1st day of inauguration of the new Oblivion attraction at the Gardaland Amusement Park, in Castelnuovo del Garda (Verona), without any expenses due.
The winners will be informed by e-mail at the address provided in the registration form.
To be eligible for the prize, the winners must bring the following documents with them on the day of the inauguration of the new attraction: Copy of their Tax ID and copy of their Identity Card. The costs of travel to reach the Gardaland amusement park are the sole responsibility of the winners.
Advertising of this prize contest will comply with Art. 11 of Presidential Decree No. 430/2001 ad these RULES and will be performed using the website of the promoter, social networks, press releases, newsletters and company database.
DECLARATION OF DOMICILE:
The documents regarding this prize contest are available from the promoter. Full rules and regulations are available on the website www.gardalandoblivion.it.
Be it known that the promoter has paid the security deposit required by Art. 7 of Presidential Decree 430/2001, according to the procedures and magnitudes therein required.
PERSONAL DATA HANDLING:
The contest participant’s personal data are handled according to the requirements of Legislative Decree No. 196/2003 (so-called Code of Privacy) for the treatment of the information provided to the interested parties, according to Art. 12 of the above Code of Privacy upon registration for participation in the contest.
